Restoring Peace & Dignity to Cedar Rapids Homes | Faithful Hands Cleaning
Faith, Compassion, and Clean Homes in Cedar Rapids: The Story of Faithful Hands Cleaning
Faithful Hands Cleaning is more than making homes look beautiful- it's a prayerful, personal pursuit to soothe restless souls.
Home is Where the Heart is: Overcoming Shame and Embracing Help
Life happens, and messes accumulate. Yet it usually isn't a lack of willingness or determination that lets a home fall into disarray. More often, guilt and shame take root, whispering that we ought to manage everything on our own. Krista Stoddard, the owner of Faithful Hands Cleaning knows exactly the dark place people all over the Cedar Rapids area live each day. She brings the heart of a mom raising three boys into every home—she knows the reality of daily chaos and offers zero judgment. She deeply believes that having a clean home uproots the deep-seated shadows in our lives.

By addressing a practical need, Krista serves an even higher purpose: the Kingdom of God. She serves as a humble presence, meeting people in the depths of their personal lives. As she scrubs, polishes, and sorts, she carefully prays over the souls of those who live there. When meeting clients in the depths of their struggles, she shares her own story openly, reminding clients how God uses the dirtiest pieces of our lives for His glory.
Fully Loved, Fully Known: Serving Cedar Rapids Beyond the Clock
To this day, Krista has never given up on a client. She isn't checking a clock or counting the hours; she is rolling up her sleeves, sitting with you in the mess, and standing firm until the peace returns. Under her care, you are accepted, loved, and fully known because of the love of Jesus Christ.

Dignity Beyond a Deep-Clean: A Story of Courage and Compassion
On a job, Krista arrived at a home to begin a deep clean. The moment she opened the door; cockroaches flooded the hallway. Krista stood on the front porch, not deterred by the bugs, but instead praying, "Lord, would you give me courage, and compassion.".
For days, she prayed as she cleaned and helped her client deconstruct the shame that came with the weight of her burdens. During that time, Krista had gotten a quote from an inspector saying that it would take 2 years to get rid of the bugs. Instead, Krista looked at her client and said, "We're going to get through this."
In just one month, the roaches had disappeared from the home. Shame had turned to dignity.

Every clean—no matter how small—is its own story of redemption. Taking that first step can feel intimidating, especially when you are used to carrying the weight of your home behind closed doors. But you do not have to wait until things are perfect to invite help inside. Reaching out isn't an admission of failure; it is an act of bravery. When you take that leap of faith and open your door, you are making room for healing, rest, and a fresh start.
